Sydney House is located in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx. Almat acquired the site which had two existing two family houses and an on grade parking lot. The existing houses will be demolished and a new seven (7) story building will be constructed. The project will have several landscaped terraces and exterior spaces. The building will have an interior landscaped court, planted with full height trees to allow most units including interior units to have a view onto green space. In addition, it will also include covered parking spaces, bike storage, children’s play room. Almat is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to develop the project as an affordable cooperative development.
